 choir perform

Students at Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota showcased their talents to capture an elite honor.

The school’s choirs traveled to the Chicago area in late March for “The Cup” National Show Choir Competition hosted by FAME Events. The Totino-Grace Company of Singers took home the national Grand Champion title, capping off an undefeated season. They competed against top performing groups from around the country and received the highest points and first place ranking from each judge.

Success did not end there. They continued their sweep by receiving trophies for best vocals, best choreography and best band. Senior Katie Hahn won awards for best diction, best show design and best female soloist.

The Cup is a traveling trophy that will be in the Company of Singer’s possession for the next year. Totino-Grace is one of only three programs in the history of the national competition to have won more than once. The group’s first title came in 1999.
