Tides Family Services in Rhode Island is celebrating an expansion. The agency opened in 1983 and serves the state’s most at-risk youth, ages 9 – 21. Tides works with community-based organizations to help young people and their families through outreach, tracking, home visits, education, court advocacy and other non-traditional services.
Recently, Tides expanded its Woonsocket office by renovating and moving into an unoccupied building next door. The new space houses three offices and a conference room for five staff members. Previously, the staff members shared one office. This expansion also helps make room for another staff member who was recently hired to meet the growing demand for services. The office is now located at 65 Main Street.
