All six of the Lasallian colleges and universities in the United States are highlighted in rankings of the best higher education institutions conducted by two highly reputable nationwide surveys.
The Forbes ranking of America’s 650 Best Colleges in 2012 includes Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN; La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA; Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY; Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga; and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. The survey of was conducted by the Center for College Affordability and Productivity and based on five general categories: post-graduate success, student satisfaction, debt, four-year graduation rate, and competitive awards.
Among the unique group of 200 colleges in 2011-2012, Colleges of Distinction lists Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, Manhattan College and Saint Mary’s College of California. This college guide identifies educational institutions that are distinctly characterized by engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities, and successful outcomes. The list includes schools that take a holistic approach to admissions decisions, that consistently excel in providing undergraduate education, and that have a truly national reputation.
