Brother Superior General Robert Schieler, FSC, delivered the keynote address at the International Catholic Child Bureau (BICE) International Congress, which was held on June 7, 2017, in Paris, France. Brother Robert’s remarks, entitled “The Dignity of the Human Person: a Human and Christian Education,” focused on how human dignity and education are closely related and how effective partnerships and networks can help people fully enjoy their lives. He also discussed how the rapid pace of change calls us to strengthen and develop our cooperation to promote and defend the rights of children. He concluded with addressing the importance of approaching leadership with a sense of service and spirituality in a changing world.
