The 41st Huether Lasallian Conference will take place November 20 – 22, 2014, in Chicago at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza with the theme The Lasallian Mission: Word, Witness & Invitation.

John L. Allen Jr. is Associate Editor of The Boston Globe after 16 years as the prize-winning Senior Correspondent for the National Catholic Reporter. He also serves as the Senior Vatican Analyst for CNN. He’s the author of seven best-selling books on the Vatican and Catholic affairs, and writes frequently on the Church for major national and international publications. He’s also a popular speaker on Catholic affairs, both in the United States and abroad. Allen’s most recent book is The Global War on Christians: Dispatches from the Front Lines of Anti-Christian Persecution.

Dr. Carole Eipers is Vice President, Executive Director of Catechetics for William H. Sadlier, Inc. She served in parish ministries for more than 20 years as a teacher, Director of Religious Education, Youth Minister, and Pastoral Associate. Carole was Director of the Office for Catechesis for the Archdiocese of Chicago for nine years and also served as President of the National Conference of Catechetical Leadership. Carole has served as a member of various adjunct faculties, has been published, and has presented in the U.S. and internationally in the area of catechetics.

John Donahue-Grossman is the Director of Retreats at La Salle Manor Retreat Center in Plano, Illinois. He is a gifted and passionate storyteller who has spoken to more than 1.6 million people across the country. He has served in ministry for 28 years as a Theology Teacher and Development Director, Parish Youth Minister, and Retreat Master. In 2004, John was recognized for his work against intolerance and injustice by Rosa Parks, co-chair for the National Campaign for Tolerance, with his name engraved on the Wall of Tolerance in Montgomery, Alabama.
