The Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools has released a new biography on Saint John Baptist de La Salle, entitled Walking Together, as a new resource to celebrate the Year of Lasallian Vocations, which kicks off December 2, 2018. The biography portion of the book is authored by Brother Diego Muñoz, FSC.
The book is seen through the eyes of Brother Jean Jacquot, FSC, who, at the age of 14, was a student in a parish school run by the first Brothers and who later wished to follow in their footsteps. The story is accompanied by historical notes, biographies, icons, photos, maps and texts from writings of De La Salle. The objective of the biography is to spark curiosity about the life of De La Salle and the first Brothers.
The book is available in digital form for download and is currently published in English, French and Spanish.
