A rare film telling the inspiring story of St. John Baptist de La Salle is now available on DVD after years of being out of circulation. Saint John Baptist de La Salle: the Patron Saint of Teachers chronicles the story of how De La Salle became involved in education, founded the Brothers of the Christian Schools, and faced obstacles along the journey.
The movie, which stars actor Mel Ferrer, was originally released in Spain in 1964 under the title El Señor de La Salle. In 1976 the film was released in the United States under the title, Who are My Own.
