Mullen High School in Denver, CO, won the Colorado 5A State Football Championship (37-15) on November 25, 2009 in the state’s most well known match-up against Cherry Creek High School. La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, PA, defeated State College High School to claim the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Division AAAA Football Championship (24-7) on Saturday, December 19, 2009.
