Lasallian Volunteers

Lasallian Volunteers came to a close on June 30, 2022, after 32 years of serving in the spirit of faith, service and community.

What started as a grassroots effort in the 1980s with young people living in community with the De La Salle Christian Brothers and serving in their ministries would eventually grow to include nearly 800 volunteers serving in more than 90 ministries over three decades. The LV program offered a formative experience that served as an entry for young people to connect more deeply with God and explore their vocation in education, service, religious life and more. Lasallian Volunteers touched the lives of countless students, clients, educators, Brothers—and the LVs themselves, along with their family and friends. The program’s legacy will continue to be an influential part in the history of the Lasallian charism and mission.

The program wishes to thank the volunteers, alums, sites, communities and supporters who have invited, welcomed, supported and championed Lasallian Volunteers over three decades.
