Continued prayers are needed for Bethlehem University in the Holy Land and its graduates in light of recent violence in Gaza.
On Thursday, August 7, General Councilor Brother Timothy Coldwell, FSC, sent this message asking Lasallians to pray in solidarity with Bethlehem University to show the students, alumni, faculty and staff they are not alone. On the same day, Brother Stephen Tuohy, FSC, Bethlehem University’s Vice President for Advancement, sent this message to graduates, friends and supporters of Bethlehem with an update, including how a University delegation visited five injured people who were brought to a hospital in Bethlehem from Gaza. Several members of their nursing team are graduates of Bethlehem University.
