Catholic School Management Offers Lasallian Discount for Summer Programs

Lasallian educators have an opportunity to enhance their skills this summer through Catholic School Management’s Summer Certificate Programs. Lasallians can attend these programs at a discounted rate.

Catholic School Management (CSM) is a leading provider of consulting and leadership skill development for Catholic schools and educators in the United States. CSM joined the Lasallian family as a division of Christian Brothers Services in October 2014.

CSM will offer four programs June 27-29 in Seaside, California: Innovative Leadership, Enrollment Management and Marketing, Institutional Advancement and High School Guidance Counseling. These tracks are designed to meet the needs of both new and veteran educators. The opening general session and both afternoon sessions for the Innovative Leadership program will be presented by Ed Salmingo, the associate principal for academic life at La Salle High School in Pasadena.

CSM is offering a discount for Lasallians of $50 per person for one or two attendees from the same school, and a discount of $100 per person for three or more attendees from the same school. May 1 is the deadline to register to receive this discount. When registering, indicate “Lasallian school” on the form to receive the discount.

The CSM Summer Certificate Programs are personalized and individualized experiences. In addition to the professional development opportunities, the location allows participants to take advantage of social activities to add to the experience of being on the Monterey Bay. Monday evening will include the celebration of Mass at the historic San Carlos Cathedral in downtown Monterey followed by a picnic dinner and social. Tuesday evening will feature a tasting of Monterey County wines at the Taste of Monterey Wine Club located on Cannery Row, which overlooks Monterey Bay.

The gathering will also include daily discussion roundtables, sample sharing, and other opportunities to grow professional networking relationships.
