Brother Valbert (John) Turner, FSC, of the New Orleans-Santa Fe District, passed away on Wednesday, July 23. He was 86. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 11 a. m. in the Rilko chapel on the campus of J. K. Mullen High School. Brother Valbert’s remains will be interred in the Brothers’ cemetery in Lafayette, Louisiana. Please pray for his eternal rest.
O God, by whose favor your servant, Brother Valbert, was called to consecrated life and witnessed to the message of salvation by his dedication to Christian education, grant that he may be admitted to your eternal friendship with those who have likewise zealously labored in Your Vineyard.
