Brother Larry Schatz, current Auxiliary Visitor for the Midwest District, has been appointed Visitor by Superior General Brother Álvaro Rodríguez Echeverría following a balloting process of Brothers in the District. Bro. Larry’s four-year term begins July 1, 2011. He will replace Bro. Frank Carr.
Bro. Larry entered the novitiate in 1982 in Windsor, Ontario and made his final vows in August 1989. Over the years, Bro. Larry has served as a teacher and campus minister. He was one of the founders of San Miguel School of Minneapolis where he served as President until December of 2007. Bro. Larry has been the Auxiliary Visitor of the Midwest District since 2008.
