Brother Donald Johanson Appointed District of San Francisco Visitor

Brother Donald Johanson has been appointed Visitor of the District of San Francisco by Superior General Brother Álvaro Rodríguez Echeverría. Bro. Donald currently serves multiple roles at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, CA including Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, math teacher, and webmaster. He also serves on the Board of Trustees, Management Team, Leadership Team, and Principal’s Advisory Council.

Before joining Christian Brothers High School in 2006, Bro. Donald previously served in technology at the Institute in Rome, along with being co-administrator of Casa Generalizia and Museum Curator from 1998-2006. He served in various roles at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco from 1989-1998, as the District’s Vocation Direction from 1981-1987, and as a teacher at De La Salle High School in Concord from 1975-1981. Previously, he was pilot for the United States Air Force from 1970-1975.

Bro. Donald’s four-year term begins July 1, 2011. He will replace Bro. Stanislaus Campbell.
