Saint Mary's University of Minnesota seeks nominations and applications for the position of Senior Vice President for University Advancement (SVPUA). Founded in 1912, Saint Mary's is a private, Lasallian, Catholic university under the sponsorship of the De La Salle Christian Brothers. The University enrolls approximately 5,700 students at two primary campuses: Winona and Minneapolis. The residential Winona campus is home to approximately 1,400 undergraduate students as well as the central administration. The Minneapolis campus is home to the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs (SGPP), which has approximately 4,300 adult learners enrolled in 50 degree and certificate programs on both campuses. The SVPUA is responsible for providing the President with the vision, leadership, and fundraising and marketing expertise for the advancement of the university's mission and goals. The SVPUA reports directly to the President on all matters relating to development, alumni relations, fundraising, marketing, and communication. The SVPUA is a member of the President's Cabinet and will provide direct supervision of the Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations and the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to revision integrating and maximizing the university's marketing efforts, and to provide the vision, leadership and policy guidance for all areas of advancement for both the undergraduate college and the SGPP, in a manner consonant with the mission of the university in order to secure strong support for annual growth. The SVPUA resides in Winona with an office on the Winona campus.

The successful candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (Master's and/or CFRE credentials preferred) with 5-7 years of successful fundraising and/or marketing experience, 3 years at an administrative level is required. A thorough knowledge of the principles and ractices involved with higher education fundraising, marketing, public relations and management of personnel is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to embrace and promote the Lasallian, Catholic mission of this multi-campus university.
